Iris Poudre

$3,290

About the product:

Passion under ice.

A classic perfume that keeps its sensuous femininity enclosed in a sober shape. A concealed satin lining of iris, musk and tonka bean is trimmed by cool, synthetic aldehydes for an aura of serene formality. Vetiver introduces a further quality of crisp chic, while decorative notes of rose, violet and ylang-ylang remind a stranger to see the woman beyond the surface.

Woman in a tailored suit.

Fragrance note:

Top: Rose, violet, ylang-ylang

Heart: Iris

Base: Sandalwood, musk, tonka bean

About the perfumer:

Pierre Bourdon earned a degree in political science before changing directions and enrolling in the Roure Bertrand Dupont school in Grasse. He then became the only protégé of celebrated perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. His professional career began at Roure in Paris in the late 70s. In the 1980s, he revolutionized perfume trends with his men's fragrance "Cool Water" for Davidoff. Today, Bourdon is considered one of the most innovative perfumers of his generation.
